Been channeling my emotions of the past 4 weeks into this piece.

This is a composite piece of Lion King 2 footage and my own work that I created due to an accidental failure on my original finished artwork. Basically I did this whole thing myself the first time (even drew a different Kovu like lion the first time, as opposed to the screenshot one I used with this) I'm sure this has happened to every Photoshop user before. That feeling of satisfaction which quickly dissolves as you realize that you have scrolled through the blend settings one too many times and can not undo that gaussian blur which is ruining your artwork. Anyway, that is why I didn't redraw Kovu but rather editted him in as I had spent about 6 hours doing the first version and just couldn't be bothered to redo him again. As for the un-named lioness that is all my work as is the background

This is basically my visual interpretation of that quick glance stolen between pained couples or scorned lovers, which often speaks far louder than words can ever be spoken.

Please comment on whether you think my lioness stands out to much from the original footage as I was trying very hard to match the actual footage's style so that mine blends in.
